Still Smoakin'

Former USC standout and Texas Rangers farmhand Justin Smoak hit two home runs in a game Sunday for the third time in the World Cup tournament, leading Team USA over Italy, 12-3, in Torino.

Smoak has hit eight home home runs in eight games, breaking the World Cup tournament record of six, set by Tino Martinez in 1988.

The Americans are 6-0 in the second round, and close out the round with a makeup against 5-1 Australia at 11 a.m. Monday.
