The real reason to celebrate

I haven't been able to come up with any baseball news today, so I'll make a quick plug for the best news there is: There's more to Christmas than exchanging presents.

We Christians observe Dec. 25 as Christmas to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, who provided us with an opportunity to have a relationship with God. That's something we cannot do on our own merits.

If interested in learning more about the birth of Jesus, read the Christmas Story here.

  • This is the only type of non-baseball post I plan for this site, and I won't do it often because I know baseball is why you come here.

If you want any more information about becoming a Christian visit a Bible-believing church near you, or e-mail me at palmetto.baseball@gmail.com

Thanks for your interest in this blog. I hope to continue to make it worth your time and appreciate your suggestions.

I hope your favorite baseball team has a great season in 2010.

    Merry CHRISTmas,
