Rosters have been announced for the Southern Collegiate Baseball League's all-star game, set for Wednesday, July 15 at Wofford College in Spartanburg. There are 10 players from state colleges and an additional couple of state natives on the squads.
NGU gets a home
North Greenville University has been approved for membership in Conference Carolinas, joining, Coker, Converse, Erskine and Limestone in the league. The move should help the Crusaders' chances of earning a bid to the NCAA Division II baseball playoffs as well as make scheduling easier.
Three PC players honored
Nate Chong, Tony Micklon and Andrew Foushee of Presbyterian have been selected to play in the NYCBL (summer wood bat league) all-star game.
