Kevin Brady, Clemson. 22 games, 2 starts, 1-0 record, 4.58 ERA, 1 save, 37 1/3 IP, 45 strikeouts -- played a variety of roles for the Tigers
Michael Clevinger, The Citadel. 16 games, 15 starts, 5-3, 5.15 ERA, 92 2/3 IP, 77 strikeouts -- was a weekend series starter for the Bulldogs
Ryan Connolly, Coastal Carolina. 40 games, 3-0, 2.15, 50 1/3 IP, 48 strikeouts -- was valuable in a setup role on a strong Chanticleers staff and struck out almost one batter per inning.
Josh Conway, Coastal Carolina. 19 games, 5 starts, 3-0, 46 1/3 IP -- held opponents to a .232 batting average.
Scott Firth, Clemson. 16 games, 4 starts, 2-1, 3.58, 32 2/3 IP -- Firth did a commendable job of middle relief and as a spot starter.
Dominic Leone, Clemson. 22 games, 10 starts, 3-2, 4.58, 58 1/3 IP -- Leone worked his way into the Tigers; weekend rotation by the end of the season.
Matt Price, South Carolina. 31 games, 4-1, 10 saves, 2.26 ERA, 55 2/3 IP, 83 strikeouts, .183 Opponents BA -- Look at the strikeouts to innings pitched and let that sink in for a minute.
Tyler Webb, South Carolina. 17 games, 7 starts, 3-2, 3.96 ERA, 36 1/3 IP, 36 strikeouts, .218 Opponents BA
CATCHER
Dylan Cole, Furman. .258, 8 HR, 31 RBI
INFIELD
Gaither Bumgardner, USC Upstate. 40 games, 40 starts, .282 BA, 7 SB -- also was one of the Spartans' regular pitchers, but the numbers (0-7, 7.71) kept him from getting two-way status.
Brody Greer, USC Upstate. 56 games, 56 starts,.266 BA
Matt Moore, Wofford. 55 games, 55 starts, .283 BA, 7 SBs -- He won the Terriers' shortstop job from the start
Will Muzika, Furman. 55 games, 55 starts, .329 BA, 14 HR, 55 RBIs -- stepped in from the first game and served as an offensive leader
Richie Shaffer, Clemson. 48 games, 44 starts, .323, 7 HR, 36 RBIs -- missed a bunch of games with a hamstring pull, but still made 44 starts and did not make an error in 327 chances defensively.
Christian Walker, South Carolina. 61 games, 51 starts, .327 BA, 9 HR, 51 RBIs -- He wasn't up to playing third base defensively, but moved to first and blossomed. He was third on the team in RBIs
OUTFIELD
Patrick Gamblin, Winthrop. 39 games, 28 starts, .359 BA, 7 HR, 31 RBI
Evan Marzilli, South Carolina. 63 games 19 starts, .385 BA, .513 OBP, 8-for-8 SB -- couldn't crack the starting lineup on a permanent basis until the NCAA playoffs, then he played a pivotal role as a table-setter.
Jon Matthews, Charleston Southern., 34 games, 29 starts, .297 BA, 12 SB in 13 attempts
Trey Richardson, USC Upstate. 43 games, 41 starts, .281 BA.
UTILITY
Paul Nitto, Furman. .300 BA, 9 HR -- was part of a logjam at catcher early, then contributed at 1B and 3B.
TWO-WAY
Dre Watts, College of Charleston. Offense: 18 games, 6 starts, .419 BA, 3 HR, 14 RBI. Pitching: 13 relief appearances 0-1 record, 2.95 ERA, 21 1/3 innings, 21 strikeouts.
