Clemson's Brad Miller had a two-run double in the seventh to tie the game as the U.S. Collegiate National Team went on to beat Chinese Taipei, 8-7, in 11 innings in the World University Championships in Tokyo. Miller was 1-for-3 and also scored a run.
South Carolnia's Jackie Bradley Jr. was 2-for-6 and drove in a run. Under tournament rules, each extra inning began with runners on first and second bases.
