Fort Mill's Kimbrell Named To U.S. Women's National Team

Anna Kimbrell, a catcher-outfielder from Fort Mill, has been named to the U.S. Women's National Team. She played baseball at Nation Ford High School and for American Legion Post 43. Kimbrell is a rising sophomore at Samford, where she plays softball. The team will play a series of exhibition games before playing in the Women's World Cup in Venezuela later this month.
