Rivals.com/Yahoo has posted an Associated Press story quoting an SEC official as saying the presence of the Confederate flag as part of the Mississippi state flag could hurt Mississippi's chances of hosting the Southeastern Conference baseball tournament. Jackson is one of several cities to have expressed interest in hosting the event.
