Alabama sets schedule
Alabama has released its 2011 schedule, including a May 19-21 home series against South Carolina to end the season. Also, the Tide play Georgia at the Gwinnett Braves' stadium in a midweek non-conference game.
Tennessee under NCAA scrutiny
Athletic Director Mike Hamilton of Tennessee said the baseball program is included in the NCAA investigation of athletic programs at the school.
Mountaineers set schedule
Appalachian State has announced -- but not posted -- its 2011 schedule. The Mountaineers have a home series with Wofford, a home game with Presbyterian and road series with College of Charleston, Furman and The Citadel. The Mountaineers also visit traditional ACC power Miami.
