USC recruiting class ranked No. 19
South Carolina's incoming recruiting class is ranked No. 19 in the nation by Baseball America. The Gamecocks are the only state school in the Top 25. Stanford's class is No. 1. Clemson's class is among the other strong classes mentioned, but not in the Top 25.

    Cade Kreuter, a sophomore first baseman, has transferred into the Miami program from Southern California and will be eligible to play this season. His father, Chad, had been the Trojans' coach before he was fired. The news is included in this overview of the Hurricanes for fall practice.
