Baseball Hall of Famer Bob Feller has been moved from a hospital, where he was being treated for pneumonia, to hospice care. Feller, 92, revealed earlier this year he had been diagnosed with leukemia. Feller won 266 games despite missing 3 1/2 seasons in his 20s to serve in the Navy in World War II, which almost certainly kept him from being a 300-game winner. For years, he would barnstorm minor-league ballparks, allowing local media and others to bat against him. I had the privilege twice, going 1-for-2. I also got to interview him, and he was the epitome for class.
