First pitch for NCAA Division teams isn't until Friday, but Baseball America's Aaron Fitt has made a preseason projection of the 64-team postseason field. He projects Florida as the No. 1 national seed and Clemson as No. 7. Clemson and South Carolina would host regionals. Coastal Carolina would go to Clemson and College of Charleston to South Carolina. Fitt projects eight teams from the SEC and seven from the ACC to make the field. College of Charleston is the only SoCon team.
