Francis Marion is tied for 13th in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association's preseason Division II poll. Southern Indiana is No. 1. In the Southeast Region poll, Georgia College and State is No. 1, Francis Marion No. 3, Erskine No. 6 and USC Aiken No. 8.
Southern Wesleyan tournament pairings set
Matchups have been set for the National Christian College Athletic Association Baseball Classic in Central Feb. 22-23. North Greenville will play Toccoa Falls at 2 p.m. Feb. 22, with host Southern Wesleyan meeting Emmanuel at 5 p.m. The winners and losers will be paired the next day.
