Voorhees finished second in the HBCU Tournament at Jacksonville, Fla., this weekend with a 2-2 record. The Tigers lost to Edward Waters in their first game, but bounced back to beat Tougaloo and Miles. Voorhees lost to Edward Waters in Sunday's championship game.
James Pirro, Darryl Keister and Brandon Maxwell of the Tigers were named to the all-tournament team.
Voorhees (2-3) opens the home portion of its schedule Saturday against Shaw.
