Tigers hurting
Clemson shortstop Brad Miller suffered a broken finger in Friday's game against Virginia and is expected to be out at least two weeks. Miller played the day after suffering the injury, but committed two errors. In addition, pitcher Kevin Brady is expected to be out until at least late March with a forearm injury suffered March 6.

    USC Lancaster has added some commitments to its baseball program. Six of the seven players listed are from South Carolina schools.

  • Westmoreland, Stallsmith set for short starts
    Weather permitting, Furman plays South Carolina Tuesday night at Fluor Field in Greenville. Adam Westmoreland is expected to start for USC and make a brief appearance as he prepares to return to the weekend rotastion. Furman's Daniel Stallsmith also is expected to make a cameo as he prepares to replace Nate Smith in the Paladins' weekend rotation.

    Palka hitting .444
    Former Greer High star Daniel Palka is hitting .444 as a freshman for Georgia Tech. He has five home runs and 15 RBIs.
