Benedict's Gipson honored
Benedict's Brandon Gipson has been named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association's Division II hitter of the week.
USC, Clemson pegged as hosts
CollegeBaseballDaily.com's weekly regional projection as South Carolina and Clemson as regional hosts. Also tabbed to make the field are College of Charleston and Coastal Carolina. USC is projected as the No. 5 national seed.

The S.C. Baseball Coaches Association has posted its latest classification rankings. I know my primary focus is college, but I'm glad to give high schools props when I can.
