Coastal schedule revised
Because of possible inclement weather on the Grant Strand, the schedule for this weekend's Caravelle Resort Tournament has been revised.

  • Hose adjust series
    Presbyterian also has adjusted the schedule for its home series with Virginia Commonwealth. There will be a doubleheader at 11:30 a.m. Friday and a single game at 2 p.m. Saturday. There will be no game on Sunday.

  • Coca-Cola Classic schedule altered
    The prospect of inclement weather has prompted a change in Friday's schedule for the Coca-Cola Classic at Winthrop. The start time of the opening contest between the Manhattan Jaspers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish will still begin at 12:00 p.m., with the next two games beginning approximately 45 minutes after each other. Winthrop faces the Fighting Irish in the second game, a 4 p.m. scheduled start, and will follow that by hosting the Jaspers in the final game of the day.

    Anderson native Tyler Lollis of Southern Wesleyan has been named the National Christian College Athletic Association player of the week for last week. He hit .688 and drove in 10 runs in five games.

    Josh Renfro has been named one of the College of Charleston's student-athletes of the week.

  • Sand Sharks doubleheader canceled
    USC Beaufort's scheduled home doubleheader against SUNY Oswego has been canceled.
