Conference Tournament fields set

SIAC
Benedict is the No. 2 overall seed and Claflin is No. 4 for the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's tournament Thursday through Sunday at the Paul Eames Baseball Complex in Albany, Ga. Benedict plays Kentucky State at 1 p.m. Thursday and Claflin plays Miles at 10 a.m. Thursday.

    The Southern States Athletic Conference tournament begins Friday at Columbus, Ga., Southern Wesleyan, the only South Carolina school in the league, did not qualify.

    USC Sumter is the top seed for the NJCAA Region 10 tournament beginning May 7 at Burlington (N.C.) Athletic Stadium.
