Conference Carolinas honors
Joe Maloney of Limestone was named player of the year, the Saints' Chico Lombardo was named coach of the year and Zach Smith of Erskine was named freshman of the year in the Conference Carolinas awards announced Thursday. Erskine had three players named first-team all-conference, while Limestone had two.

    Game schedules adjusted
    There must be rainy weather coming to eastern Tennessee. North Greenville's series at King with begin with a doubleheader on Friday instead of ending with one on Saturday. Also, Southern Wesleyan's game at Lee today will begin at 2 p.m. instead of 6 p.m.
