Players from South Carolina schools make up six of the 60 players on the midseason watch list for the Golden Spikes Award, presented to the top college player in the country. Matt Price, Michael Roth and Christian Walker of South Carolina, Daniel Aldrich of College of Charleston, Anthony Meo of Coastal Carolina and Brad Miller of Clemson are on the list.
