Charleston Southern lights announcement set for Thursday

Here's a photo I took  at Charleston Southern's stadium during a 2009 game
against Furman. On Thursday, the school is expected  to officially announce
plans to add lights to the facility.

A source with connections in the Charleston Southern athletic department reports the school plans to officially announce on Thursday plans for lights to be added to the baseball stadium. That would permit the Buccaneers to play late afternoon or night games at home.

This move will leave Presbyterian as the only Division I program in the state without lights at its home park.
