Furman pitcher Solter reportedly ill
There are Internet reports that Furman pitcher Matt Solter has been hospitalized with a serious health issue.
On Tuesday, a Tweet from a Furman account said Paladins coach Ron Smith said Solter had shown "marked improvement."
Since there have been no details released by the family or school, I won't mention what I've seen to avoid spreading possible incorrect information. If prayers are part of your belief system, Matt and his family might appreciate them.
Solter, a right-hander from New Bern, N.C., had an 0-1 record and 4.66 earned-run average with a team-high seven saves as a sophomore in 2013.
