Paladins lead the way
Furman's baseball team leads all college teams with its fundraising efforts to fight cancer. The Paladins have raised more than $21,000 toward their goal of $25,000. The campaign is capped by a head-shaving event after the April 8 game against South Carolina at Fluor Field.

Gamecocks near midway point
South Carolina has posted some notes after the weekend series with Tennessee. The Gamecocks (24-3) reach the midway point of the 56-game regular season with a home game against Appalachian State on Tuesday.
