Adkins' 41-game hitting streak began 49 years ago Thursday

Clemson has posted a remembrance of the beginning of Rusty Adkins' ACC-record 41-game hitting streak on April 10, 1965. The streak continued into the 1966 season in an era when teams played far fewer baseball games.
