Benedict, Paine meet at Fluor Field
SIAC rivals Paine and Benedict complete their three-game regular-season series Friday with a 7 p.m. meeting at Fluor Field in Greenville in the sixth annual HBCU Classic. Twenty-five percent of ticket sales proceeds will go to the schools' athletic programs.

Benedict swept a doubleheader from Paine in Augusta March 30. Friday's game does count in the conference standings.

* College of Charleston has moved the start of Friday's CAA home game against James Madison from 6 p.m. to 3 p.m. because of weather conference.

* USC Aiken's Peach Belt Conference game at first-place Columbus State on Friday night has been moved to 1 p.m. Sunday. The teams will play a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday.

* First pitch for Erskine's home doubleheader against Limestone on Friday has been pushed ahead an hour to noon.
