Pioneers add Monday home doubleheader
Spartanburg Methodist has added a home doubleheader against Walters State at 5 p.m. today at Mooneyham Field on the SMC campus.
Spartanburg Methodist was tied for second in last week's NJCAA national poll. Walters State was 12th.
SMC beat Walters State in a doubleheader in Spartanburg in March. A doubleheader in Morristown, Tenn., was washed out.
The Pioneers are the top seed for the NJCAA Region 10 tournament this weekend in Kinston, N.C.
