Twelve are CPL all-stars
Twelve players from S.C. colleges are on the West Division roster for the Coastal Plain League All-Star Game Monday in Asheboro, N.C. Representing  Coastal Carolina Anthony Marks (Asheboro) and Michael Morrison (Florence). South Carolina's selections are are  Gene Cone (Florence) and Jordan Gore (Florence). Also selected were Charleston Southern's Chase Shelton (Columbia), Clemson's Weston Wilson (High Point-Thomasville), Francis Marion's J.D. Crowe (Columbia), Furman's Ryan Griffith (Florence), Lander's Weston Lawing (Gastonia), North Greenville's Allen Staton (Columbia), Winthrop's Brock Goodling (Florence) and Wofford's Alec Paradowski (High Point-Thomasville).
