SEC sets TV baseball schedule

At least 13 South Carolina baseball games will be televised on cable television this season according to a schedule announced by the Southeastern Conference today.

Additional games will be available on SEC+, an online streaming feed. Also, USC's May 14 game vs. LSU could be in contention for a "wildcard" telecast on ESPNU or the SEC Network.

Clemson's games at South Carolina and Georgia also will air on the SEC Network.  This schedule does not include any potential Clemson games under the ACC or national ESPN packages.

Eight other state teams will appear on SEC+ as opponents for SEC teams: College of Charleston (3 appearances),  Wofford (3), Furman (2), Presbyterian (2), Charleston Southern (1), The Citadel (1) USC Upstate (1) and Winthrop (1).

SEC+ coverage will replace the video streaming package of USC games. A USC spokesman said at least 52 of 56 regular-season games will be on cable or SEC+.

All SEC Tournament games will be on national cable TV.
