Roth takes mound again
Michael Roth, one of the heroes of South Carolina's College World Series championship teams in 2010 and 2011, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Gamecocks' home opener against College of Charleston on Friday.
Clemson pushes start back
First pitch for Clemson's Saturday home game against West Virginia has been pushed back a half-hour to 2:30 p.m. to accommodate fans wanting to attend the noon home basketball game vs. Virginia Tech.
