Nichols gets 500th win
Tuesday's 19-2 victory over Anderson was Erskine coach Kevin Nichols'; 500th career victory in his 16 seasons at the school. He has the Flying Fleet off to a 9-0 start this season.

Erskine picks up home games this weekend
Because of weather concerns, this weekend's Conference Carolinas series between Erskine and Barton has been shifted from Wilson, N.C., to Due West. The teams will play a single game at 2:30 p.m. Friday and a doubleheader at noon Saturday.

Trojans-Crusaders game rescheduled
North Greenville's scheduled home game against Anderson has been postponed until 4 p.m. March 24.

Mincey's suspension ongoing
Neil White of The State and GoGamecocks.com reports South Carolina pitcher's Cody Mincey has carried on into the regular season. Mincey was suspended during fall practice, but has participated in practices in scrimmages.

Tanner joins NCAA DI Baseball Committee
University of South Carolina athletic director Ray Tanner will join the NCAA division I Baseball Committee beginning with the 2015-16 school year. Among the committee's responsibility is selecting the 64-team field for the NCAA Tournament.

Pepsi Invitational continues
Weekend Two of the Pepsi Invitational junior college tournament is set for Florence with 12 games on the schedule at Old Cormell Field. Florence-Darlington enters the event with an 8-0 record.
