Furman has posted preview notes regarding its weekend appearance in the Campbell Classic in Buies Creek, N.C. The Paladins play Maryland Eastern Shore on Friday, Miami (Ohio) on Saturday and Campbell on Sunday.

A Twitter account identified as belonging to College of Charleston pitcher Bailey Ober reports the sophomore right-hander had successful Tommy John surgery. The Tweet:
