SEC+ may be available on DirecTV
The SEC and University of South Carolina's baseball Twitter feeds report that the SEC+ feature is now available to DirecTV subscribers. SEC+ includes hundreds of SEC events, including dozens of USC baseball games.

Schedules change
There are schedule changes in the air.

* Anderson's scheduled South Atlantic Conference series at Carson-Newman has been moved from Jefferson City to Anderson Memorial Stadium. A single game is set for 2 p.m. Friday and a noon game is scheduled for noon Saturday.
* Winthrop's Friday home series opener against Toledo has been moved to 2 p.m. and the scheduled Sunday game has been moved to part of a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.
* USC Sumter has switched its Friday home game vs. Florida State College of Jacksonville to 4 p.m. doubleheader.
* The Upstate/Wofford Classic - or Wofford/Upstate Classic, depending on your preference - is scheduled for Friday through Sunday at USC Upstate and Wofford. Schedule changes have been made, and more are possible.
Friday
Miami (Ohio) at USC Upstate, 2 p.m.
Pittsburgh at Wofford, 5 p.m.
Saturday
Pittsburgh vs. East Tennessee State at USC Upstate, noon

Richmond-Holy Cross series moved to Allendale
With the single-digit temperatures being predicted in Upstate South Carolina later this week, it's hard to think of the Palmetto State as being a haven from cold weather.

On Thursday, Virginia announced plans to play four games in Charleston and Richmond announced it has moved its home series with Holy Cross to Allendale at USC Salkehatchie's facility. The teams will play a single game at 3 p.m. Friday and a doubleheader at 11 a.m. Saturday
