Lombardo honored
Former Francis Marion player and ex-Limestone coach Anthony "Chico" Lombardo was inducted into the Greater Chattanooga Sports Hall of Fame March 2. Also inducted was former WSPA TV sports anchor Paul Jackson. Jackson died in a plane crash en route home from covering the Clemson-Virginia football game in 1990.

Gamecocks post notes
South Carolina has posted notes on its baseball program. The Gamecocks went 5-1 last week to improve to 12-3 this season. They have five home games this week; two against Penn State and three against Kentucky.
