It was a Tuesday night full of milestones

* Presbyterian's 9-4 win over North Carolina Central Tuesday night was the 24th of the season for the Blue Hose. That matches the school record for wins as a NCAA Division I program. Coach Elton Pollock's Blue Hose have seven regular-season games remaining in which to break the tie.

* Wofford's 17-9 win over Clemson was the 33rd of the season, a school record for wins in a season as an NCAA DI team, for coach Todd Interdonato's Terriers. The old mark was 32 wins last season. The Terriers have seven regular-season games, including a Wednesday visit to South Carolina, remaining. It was the second-most runs Wofford has ever scored against Clemson, topped only by a 20-18 Terriers win in 1949. Tuesday's game was Clemson's first at Wofford since 2004. The game was scheduled after both Clemson and Wofford lost games to rain and allowed both teams to get back to the NCAA maximum of 56 games

* USC Lancaster won its first-ever NJCAA Region 10 Tournament title with a  10-6 victory over regular-season champion USC Sumter. Coach Steve Williams' Lancers and coach Tim Medlin's Fire Ants both advance to the Eastern District playoffs for a chance to go to the NJCAA College World Series.
