Cougars bypassed
College of Charleston was not one of the 16 regional sites announced Sunday by the NCAA. The Cougars are expected to receive an at-large bid to the 64-team tournament on Monday. Coastal Carolina and Clemson also are in line for at-large bids.

Francis Marion's Matt Rubino was named first-team NCAA Division II all-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association. Newberry's Albert Baur was a second-team choice, Erskine's Brandon Overstreet was named third team and North Greenville's Adam Boghosian received honorable mention.
