Seven state players earn all-American honors
First-team selections Taylor Clarke of College of Charleston and Matthew Crownover of Clemson are among seven S.C. players named to Collegiate Baseball newspaper's Louisville Slugger All-American teams.

Clemson's Chris Okey, South Carolina's Kyle Martin and Wofford's Conor Clancey are second-second picks, while The Citadel's James Reeves and College of Charleston's Carl Wise are third-team picks.

Tigers show their smarts
Clemson's baseball team set a program record with a composite 3.04 grade point average for the spring semester. Twenty-three Tigers made the school's honor roll.
