Pucetas joins Pioneers staff
Former major-leaguer and Spartanburg County native Kevin Pucetas has joined the Spartanburg Methodist College staff as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator.

SEC hogs Golden Spikes Award
The four finalsts for USA Baseball's 2015 Golden Spikes Award all hail from SEC schools: Andrew Benintendi of Arkansas; Alex Bregman of LSU, Carson Fulmer of Vanderbilt and Dansby Swanson of Vanderbilt.

Crohan, Okey may represent USA
Winthrop's Matt Crohan and Clemson's Chris Okey have been invited to tryouts for U.S. Collegiate National Team by USA baseball. Okey was on the team last season. The Americans will play a series of exhibition games over the summer.
