Wofford (4-0 for the week)
(beat USC Upstate, Rider, Evansville and UNC Asheville)
I remember going on a Wofford fan discussion board a few years back and reading conversations about the Terriers' baseball program. Some fans wanted a change in coaches; others wanted to stay the course.
Those in coach Todd Interdonato's corner have been proven correct. After losing seasons in Interdonato's first six seasons. The Terriers won a school-record 32 games in 2014, breaking a streak of 21 consecutive losing seasons. A 7-0 start in 2015 set the stage for a school-record 39 wins a season ago.
Sunday's 8-5 victory over UNC Asheville allowed Wofford to match the 7-0 start. All seven wins game came against different teams.
Last year, Wofford's first loss of the season came in Game 8 at Clemson. Care to guess where the Terriers play Tuesday? Good. You're paying attention.
