The Citadel suspends three starters
The Post and Courier in Charleston reports The Citadel has suspended starters Drew Ellis, Austin Mapes and Phillip Watcher indefinitely for a violation of team rules. School officials told the newspaper of the suspensions Wednesday night. The Bulldogs lost at Coastal Carolina, 4-3, Wednesday night.

* South Carolina has posted preview notes on its Southeastern Conference series at Vanderbilt. The series will run Thursda-Saturday, with the first game on ESPNU, the second game on SEC+ and the third game on the SEC Network.
