Three S.C. teams projected to host
CollegeBaseballDaily.com made its first NCAA Tournament field projection of the season today, with four S.C. teams in the field. South Carolina is pegged as the No. 2 national seed and is joined as regional host by Clemson and College of Charleston. Coastal Carolina is projected as going to the Coumbia regional.

Saints honor Byars
Former player Shane Byars was inducted into Limestone's Athletic Hall of Fame last weekend.

North Dakota cuts baseball
It's another dark day for college baseball. North Dakota announced it will drop baseball (and men's golf) after this season.
