Virginia bus in crash; coaches swing into action
The University of Virginia baseball team's bus was involved in a traffic accident in south Florida Thursday night after the driver suffered an undisclosed medical emergency.
Officials report the driver lost consciousness behind the wheel., Coaches jumped into action and tried the steer the bus, which eventually crashed.
Team officials administered first aid for the driver until EMS arrived. The driver was taken to an area hospital.
Virginia is in town to play Miami in a three-game series beginning Friday.
