Palmetto State Baseball team of the week, April 4-10: Erskine

Erskine (5-0 for the week)
(Went 2-0 vs. Southern Wesleyan; went 3-0 vs. Emmanuel)

Erskine College had a big week of Conference Carolinas success, winning five games. The Flying Fleet have won nine straight games, including eight straight in league play.

That has allowed coach Kevin Nichols' squad to climb into a three-way tie for first place with Belmont Abbey and North Greenville with two weeks left in conference play.

Erskine has its fate in its hands. It visits Belmont Abbey next weekend, then closes its league schedule with a home series against North Greenville.
