Composite of six major national DI baseball rankings, May 31

Each week, CollegeBaseballInsider.com posts a composite poll of five national NCAA Division I rankings. In the table below, I've added PerfectGame.org to the mix for a six-ranking composite.

SEC Tournament champion Texas A&M was No. 1 in all six rankings this week, ending Mississippi State's one-week stay at the top. The Aggies were No. 2 last week.

Clemson vaulted from 17th to ninth on the strength of its charge to the ACC Tournament championship.

South Carolina fell from eighth to 12th after going two-and-out in the SEC Tournament.

Big South Conference champion Coastal Carolina moved up four spots from 19th to 15th.

There are seven SEC teams and six ACC teams in the Top 25.

Points are awarded on a descending scale, from 25 points for a first-place vote to 1 for a 25th-place vote. Some polls ranked more than 25 teams, but I kept it at the top 25 for consistency's sake. In the event of ties, the points are divided evenly among the tied teams.
