Blue Hose add 16 players
Presbyterian has announced the signing for 16 incoming players for the 2017 season. Included are catcher Jake Behan of Summerville, infielder Tanner Byrd of Strom Thurmond, pitcher Carter Fox of Waccamaw, pitcher Eric Miles of Buford, pitcher Linc Powell of Johnsonville and USC Lancaster and outfielder Chris Thompson of Mann.

Buccaneers work on field
Charleston Southern is installing new turf in the outfield and in foul territory for the 2017 season. The $250,000 project is designed to correct some field issues that forced the Buccaneers to move several home games early the 2016 season.
