Palmetto State Baseball team of the week, Feb. 13-19: USC Salkehatchie

USC Salkehatchie (3-0 for the week)
(went 3-0 vs., New River CC)
The Indians surpassed their win total (2) of their first 11 games with three big offensive performances in a sweep of New River.

There were several teams worthy of the honor this week. While most state schools have staff to handle statistics and publicity matters, Salkehatchie's Bubba Dorman is the only coach who e-mails his boxes each game because he knows that's the only way they can be included on this Website. Sometimes, it's at or near midnight before he can file his report on road games. In this case, that served as the tiebreaker.

Salkehatchie returns to action with a Saturday home doubleheader against East Georgia.
