Palmetto State Baseball team of the week, Feb. 20-26; Clemson

Clemson (4-0 for the week)
(went 1-0 vs. Western Carolina; went 3-0 vs. Elon)
The Tigers rebounded from losing their opening series to Wright State by going unbeaten for the week. They started slowly, falling behind Western Carolina 5-1 before scoring 10 runs over their final two at-bats.

The Elon series started with a dandy pitchers' duel. Clemson won, 1-0, in 13 innings as three pitchers combined for a school-record strikeouts. A big offensive day on Saturday was followed by another shutout on Sunday.

Clemson plays host to Wofford on Tuesday, then faces South Carolina over the weeknd.
