Weekend schedule changes
Several schools have changed their weekend schedule in anticipation of inclement weather issues on Sunday.
* Coastal Carolina's Sunday home game with Ilinois has been moved to part of a Saturday doubleheader.

* The Citadel's Sunday home game with Stetson has been moved to part of a Saturday twinbill. Also, the start of Friday's game was moved up an hour to 5 p.m
Bulldogs
* Francis Marion's series at Georgia Southwestern has been adjusted to a single game on Friday and a doubleheader on Saturday.
Patriots
* Newberry's series at Tusculum will now consist of a 2 p.m. Friday doubleheader and a 1 p.m. game on Saturday.
Wolves
* North Greenville's Friday game at Emmanuel is now planned for a 5 p.m. start.

Four state catchers on Bench Award list
Clemson's Chris Williams, South Carolina;'s Chris Cullen, Winthrop's Babe Thomas and Wofford's Carson Waln are on the watch list for the Johnny Bench Award, given annually to the top catcher in college baseball.
