Florence-Darlington Tech is enjoying unprecedented success. Coach Preston McDonald's Stingers punched their ticket for the program's first-ever appearance in the NJCAA World Series by rolling through the Eastern District Tournament in Florence.

The Stingers (42-17) were the host team for the event after winner the NJCAA Region 10 Tournament earlier this month.

FD Tech will play McLennan (Texas) at 9:30 p.m. EDT Sunday, May 28, in Grand Junction, Colo.
