The Citadel has fired alumnus and school athletic hall of famer Tony Skole to replace the retired Fred Jordan as head baseball coach.
Skole comes to Charleston from East Tennessee State. After Jordan's retirement last month Skole briefly became the Southern Conference's active leader in baseball victories as a head coach.
Skole played on The Citadel's 1990 College World Series team.
