Florence-Darlington Tech made its first trip to the NJCAA World Series in 2017. The Stingers got off to a good start to the 2018 season by winning a home doubleheader against new Region 10 baseball rival USC Union in a nonregion series. Sunday's portion of the four-game set was wiped out by rain.
