After some checking, I discovered I was in error about Morris having a 40-game losing streak. It was 45 games dating back to a win at Voorhees in the opener of a doubleheader April 8, 2014. I had missed two games and transposed the score of another. Thanks to Michael Coker of BlackCollegeNines.com for causing me to double-check my ciphering.
Wednesday's 9-2 win over Voorhees was Morris' first home win since March 27, 2014, also against Voorhees.
